Privacy Policy.
This policy explains how Quetxt handles personal data, submitted documents, account information, payments, cookies and privacy requests.
Introduction and scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the online service offered under the Quetxt name at quetxt.com. References to “Quetxt,” “we,” “our” or “us” mean the Quetxt service described in this policy.
It covers use of the website, account features, contact requests, package purchases, plagiarism checking, AI detection and reports created from submitted content.
Plagiarism checking and AI detection are separate forms of analysis. A plagiarism report looks for similarity to available sources. AI detection provides probabilistic indicators and does not prove who wrote a text.
This policy does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites, including source pages linked from a report. Review the privacy information on those sites before providing data to them.

How submitted documents are treated
- Submitted documents are not automatically added to the general comparison database.
- Submitted documents are not used to train AI models.
- A private, user or institutional repository is used only when it has been separately connected or activated.
- Plagiarism checking may compare text with the public web, academic publications and the internal system database.
- AI detection remains a separate probabilistic analysis and is not merged with the plagiarism result.
Documents, reports and retention
Documents and reports may remain available in your account until you delete them or delete the account. You can delete stored documents through the available account controls or contact support when assistance is needed.
- Deleting a document removes it from the account and active service storage.
- Deleting an account removes the account and linked user content.
- Deleted documents and deleted accounts are not retained in backups.
- Documents are not automatically placed in the general comparison database.
- Documents are not used to train AI models.
Other records are kept only for as long as needed for their purpose. This may include payment, tax, fraud-prevention, support and security records that must be retained for operational or legal reasons. Retention is reviewed according to the type of record, the reason it is needed and applicable legal requirements.
